Description:
The image depicts a mother self-delivering her new born child assisted by an unknown figure. Tied around the infants right wrist is a tag labelled 'illegal immigrant', a term used to describe millions of humans on our shared planet, Earth, everyday in the 21st century.
The mother's left ankle also possess a tag with the words 'do not permit to work'. This highlights the extortionate level of unemployment and low income roles for mothers across the globe in today's modern society.
The board presenting the new-born's supposedly medical information shows frequent use; erasing and rewriting of the same, predetermined information, some of which includes:
Child's name - a number [of documented people in the world at the time of publication, according to global statistics].
Child's Title - 'Mrs', as of 9 years from her birth, factual to the practice of extant groups of people living on parts of the Earth.
Further, the child at present is in debt of the future that lies ahead. The doctor's signature remains withheld, mimicking the lack of crucial medical provision available today, particularly to marginalised individuals and communities, despite the vast resources that are available - to a select few.
